It's the first official BBQ weekend of the year, so what's on yours?

I've just recovered the Barbie from the garage and given it a wash, so tonight for tea Mrs VC and I have:

Sweet chilli prawn kebabs with a green salad

Butterflied, marinaded, shoulder of lamb, new potato kebabs, and vegetable kebabs

Home made custard tart

All washed down with Bucks Fizz.

We have had about 5 so far, the last was on Thursday and the first were a while ago when we had that spell of warm weather.

Usually just burgers, bangers & chicken (+ veggie alternatives for t1)

Whatever I find left when I get round to going to a shop....probably a mars bar and a packet of crisps

tomorrow will be steaks and then some chicken with a nice marinade

Chicken breast, nice sausages (kids have ordinary ones as they won't eat the fancy ones), burgers and of course salad. Washed down with French lager for me, and the wife has some champers (on offer at supermarket)

Oh, and we had to go hunting for marsh mellows. Son will be doing the cooking today, he's only 11, but has been wanting to cook on the BBQ for ages. I'll supervise with a few beers.

Yep, Tandoori chicken legs marinading since last night, to be had with seekh kebabs, iceberg salad and fresh naan from the bakery at Birkby, which will be brushed with garlic butter before warming on the grill. Bottled Stella for me.

Mrs Cube has returned from the shop with steaks and burgers for tomorrow.

Shockingly I'm not having a barbecue. I shall be having some pizza and then heading out here where I intend to sit out in the , overlooking the River Severn and enjoying a pint or few of something from the Salopian Brewery.

Lamb chops, and burgers - mostly beef, but with a little diced cheddar mixed in to lubricate them a bit.
Having that with roasted veggies, jacket spuds and Beaujolais, and Summer Pudding afterwards.
Pimms may well be involved too
