Wasn't too bad at 06:15 when I walked the dog. Told the wife she'd be fine to cycle to work (heading westward), off she went and by 7:20 when I left it was blowing a gale!

Suffice to say I got a surly email when I got to work

I don't cross the bridge and work from 6 - 6, possible to do the home for lunch thing, but have to come in with the car and then cycle back to manage it time wise !

Well it did , I felt like I was about to be blown back down a hill at one point... Sometimes I hate going West - East in the morning..

Going to work was a breeze this morning fair enjoyed it ,coming back was a wee bit harder than usual just upped the pedalling and got a draft of a roadie for a bit then took over and let him draft me great fun even had a wee chat ,was completely knackered when i got home wind blaw yersel oot

Considering the alternatives it was a fine ride both ways.
