screwing and grunting for a couple of hours without relief.

Nothing exciting though. Just putting together a wee ark to use as an emergency shelter for a hen should I ever need to isolate one of The Laydeez from the others. The grunting was on the final bit of screwing in a.. err.. screw into the wood as I am less than efficient at it. It's done though.

Now on to the preservative staining of said ark.

We have hens, had to isolate one of them when she got ill, luckily we have two hen hutches now though so it's all pretty darn good.

Certainly not! I was speyed many a long year ago!

I am, however, getting a further two hens on Saturday so I'm making sure all bases are covered as regards the new arrivals and being prepared for potential problems should any occur.
