I've put 'monthly'; in fairness this is a particularly troublesome path near where I work, and includes gestures, horns etc as well as verbal hassle.

Never, but then the motorists of Stourbridge are more of the 'stare ahead and pretend i'm not driving badly' variety, oh and there aren't any cycle paths.

My bikes rarely venture out of the living room these days, so I've put "never" too:smile:. In fairness, I don't recall ever being told that in ten years of regular urban and rural commuting.

I've been told a few times - not whilst riding, but by other people when talking about cycling.

I am more likely to be told to cycle on the pavement by motorists.

Are you sure. I voted for monthly and as of this moment I am the only vote for that option.....

I used to get it the whole time on the Great West Road, mostly cos there is a massive pavement with a cycle path, but I'm buggered if I'm going to weave in and out of bus stops and slow down for every poxy drive and side street....

Very rarely since I moved to London, though there aren't many cycle paths that follow the routes I commonly take.
It happened to me a lot more when I used to live in Exeter, several times a year, if not monthly. But then I found Exeter drivers in general a lot more trouble than in London.
I seem to remember a thread on C+ about someone being told to get off the road and cycle on the pavement cycle path by a police officer in Exeter.
