I've Finally Done It...

Well, I've jumped in feet first and got my new bike... My plan was to collect it on Saturday, but I was too impatient and turned up at Cycle Surgery in Manchester on a friday night after work.Got a huge amount of help and advice on the bike (tried a 56cm frame first, but went with a 54), shoes and pedals from Adam...

So now, I'm the proud owner of a Specialized Allez Elite... And I can't wait to get out and put my first miles on it!

Bayerd, it was dark when I got it home, and I hadn't bought lights... Never fear, 9am will see a slightly chubby bloke take to the streets on a new steed!

Just a short first ride, to get a feel for the bike. Using clipless pedals for the first time, they do feel a little strange! No embarrassing fall fortunately
