Well I have.

It's 20 inches long and 5 inches in diameter.

And before you say it's not about size I can assure you that I do know how to use it

I dug it up from the garden this afternoon. As it's a Monster Parsnip :biggrin: and should be very flavoursome in tonight's dinner :tongue:

It's not about the size...

picture!!

Preferably one of the root in question held innocently just below waist level.

I hope size isn't relevant to the amount of turbulance that will develop after about 2-3 hours!

Well Mrs 26x25 is impressed.

She prepared some smaller ones for tonight's din dins by boiling and mashing with carrott and swede :?: With a pile of that + steak and kidney pie I'm not complaining :?:

I'm hoping the Monster will be roasted   ready for when I get back from my ride tomorrow ;)

Well I'm back from my bike ride and Mrs 26x25 is in the garden with the digging bug. It's more than my life's worth to ask her to stop that and deal with my parsnip.

So I'll have to manage on my own.

Should I be worried about my eye sight xx(

I'm not ashamed to say that I fettled my Monster personnally.

I roasted it in the oven with some spuds and it fed 3 of us. (4th one won't eat parsnip  )

I think there may be another Monster lurking in the veg patch
