I've just heard a rumble

It's rained a bit here, but nothing biblical, and no thunder. It's very humid again now, and grey. Raintoday suggests rain is on the way any minute. I shall be miffed if we don't get a proper thunderstorm, this morning's rain didn't clear the air at all, I was wet from rain and sweating at the same time!

Hit us at 5an. Missus wanted to get the washing in. I took one look at the pressure washer powered rain and went back to bed. Just steady rain for the commute, some closed roads and everyone was moaning about trains at work . Piccadilly got hit by lighting

Was hammering down when I woke up and lots of thunder/lightning.
Huge puddle near work stretched right across the road, thankfuly no cars were coming as I went slowly through or I would no doubt have been soaked.

Hmm, looks like sparse but large drops falling on the roof opposite, let's see if it comes to anything.

Road to work at 6 am in a torrential downpour and the thunder was directly overhead, brown trouser moment !
People asked why i did it and i told them either i get wet or the wife and kids get wet , so they win every time.
