I realised this after standing at a traffic light today swiping my staff pass over the button to make the lights change several times and wondering why the "wait" light didn't come on.

Felt slightly better after a colleague told me that she had said hello to a woman with a baby at the end of the breakroom for 2 nights running, till last night she started wondering why this woman was always standing in the same spot and realised it was a paper cut-out!

I realised this after standing at a traffic light today swiping my staff pass over the button to make the lights change several times and wondering why the "wait" light didn't come on.

I do that as well - I get my pass out and wave it front of the button you're supposed to press to get out of the room. I usually do it when I'm deep in thought. You're probably a bit of a deep thinker a bit like me.

On a related theme... I've found myself recently putting my pen down and try to press (an imaginary) CTRL+S when doing drawings by hand!
