My winter jacket has a a very useful zipped chest pocket......good for phone and specs etc.
My 3 spring/summer jerseys/jackets have the standard rear pockets.
Are there any summer jerseys with exra/side/chest pockets ?

However, the obvious issue will generally be that the material is thin and a single layer, unlike a winter jacket

I like it when it's cold enough to need a jacket , so that I can put my keys and phone in etc. That's why I have a bag on my handlebars, though I've decided to look for one to go on the cross bar.
