Jamis Ventura vs Cannondale Synapse

Would appreciate anyone with any advice on the above. The Jamis is $1149 vs Cannondale $1199. Both are Tiagra. My current bike is a Cannondale quick 5 and now looking for an endurance bike. Both have similar geometry. I have not tested either one due to LBS not stocking them.

Try to try them. No one can really tell you which is best for you otherwise choose on colour. I’d probably avoid the Cannondale due to pressfit bottom bracket (unless Jamis use the same)

Does the LBS not have anything suitable that you can try?

In contrast, I've bought 3 road bikes in the past 2 years. Both expensive bikes are currently in the shop getting some tlc whilst my much cheaper synapse just keeps going and going. I Bought it on sale and iirc I reckon it's the 16 model, great bike. Don't know anything about the other bike for comparison though, sorry.

Just remembered, I changed the tyres pretty quickly as they really were rubbish.
