Chris you'll be fine, it won't be super speedy and no one will get dropped. I reckon the average speed will be somewhere between 14 & 15 mph. Look forward to seeing you there

MisterStan, a 40 mile a day commute? Like Ian says you'll have no trouble clocking up a 100 miler, and a ride with company is a great way of doing it

Sounds good, I need to have a look at route options for getting there, looks like meeting at Stevenage Station and cycling to Harpenden is the simplest for me...
Well i'll leave that in your capable hands mate as i dont know that area at all other than the last 2 rides out with The Doc

Well i'm afraid i wont be along for this by the looks of things,i have got some trapped nerves in my back which are making cycling as well as pretty much everything else very painfull to do,if it sorts itself in time then i'll be back on the list,but until then................
