hi all im having abit of an issue in regards to buying jeans, i wear shorts most days but when the weather is horrid or im going somewhere semi smart i need jeans. ive got a 36 inch waist but the issue is nothing i find seems too fit my upper legs, my legs are 28inches around and even the baggy fit ones are too tight, i was thinking jackamo ect but has anyone got any suggestions? Ive always put up with just buying massive jeans and wearing a belt but they look abit silly and are usually too long.

Gave up wearing jeans on the bike for similar reasons. Replaced them with Trojan workwear trousers from Arco.
That was twelve years ago, at the time I was doing 250 miles a weekend, to & from work.

I doubt it's too hard to find jeans with 36" waist that won't fit your legs. It's not as if 28" thighs/36" waist is a phenomenon unknown to man.

I go for carrot style jeans. Normal waist and bigger around the quads then taper round the shins.

Yebbut, who wants orange jeans? ;)

I had this problem when I was at my heaviest weight a couple of years ago. I was 16stone 10lbs and 38 inch waist. At that time in my life I could not find a pair of jeans that would go past my thighs, unless they were a 42 inch waist or similar.

I no longer have this problem. The solution was to loose some weight. I am now 14stone 4 lbs.

I've plenty of mtp trousers left over lol but can't really wear those out without looking a total nugget, it's not a case of losing weight at all
