Yes I can, Yes I am, Yes I did...Repeat.
I lost some weight recently:bravo: , so first thing I did was get down the shops for some new jeans:girldance: . Thing is though I also now have bulging pumped thighs women keel over and feint over...ha ha:thanks: ...anyway the jean sizes were slim, boot, or regular....now regular is out of the question because I am finally slim and want to show it off:girldance: ...the slim and boot sizes are fine around waist and lower leg but the old thighs of deep joy get stuck in the pipe so to speak:eek: ...so...what is a chap to do?? I thought about asking Chris Hoy what jean brand he uses....surely this is discrimination against toned ripped cyclists in favour of the massed peasantry of the 4 wheeled variety;) .

Hey ho....the stresses of life eh

I have the exact same problem. Cant wear skinny or regular fit jeans as my thighs wont allow me to...not if I ever want to bend at the knee that is. I tend to go boot cut as they are relatively flattering for taller fellas with big thighs and dont make my legs look like Peter Parkers.

Levi's twisted jeans. Bit of a pain the arse to get as not many places stock them as they are 'out of fashion' atm, but you can get them off levi's website. All my jeans are twisted, they are so much more comfortable then standard jeans.

These days you are supposed to wear your jeans lower to give your legs more room with the waist around your arse, the arse section around your thighs and the thigh part around your calves.

Alternatively Howies fit quite well on cyclists, quite expensive but they often have a good sale on.

Howies, eh? Ill give em a try.

I've a similar issues with tops and shirts. Cos I'm a 53-54" chest most of the shirt manufacturers think I'm a fatty boom boom and I end up with acres of spare material around the waist to tuck in, which looks messy. I'm a 34-36" waist (not quie one nor t'other, which is also a pain) so end up walking round all year in muscle vests, which is comfy but looks poncy. If anyone knows of a sensibly priced range of clothing for gents who are large because they keep in shape, not because the eat burgers for breakfast, then I'd be keen to know of them.

I had the same problem before I even started cycling too. Skinny jeans are way too tight around the thighs and ahem, gentleman's area. So I have to buy regular jeans, which are way too big on the backside.

You used to be able to get relatively stylish pairs of normal jeans but now they're all skinny jeans and the regular ones are all granddad M&S type jeans. Hence why I am sitting now in a 5 year old pair with rips on the bottoms of the legs...

He doesn't wear jeans, he wears Mountie trousers...

Trouble with jeans,ok thick thighs do this as in slashing across the knees, slash down the thighs and start a new fashion.
