I go through phases of being utterly addicted to it! I usually grab them off ITV Player. They're really awesome! The sad fact is, is I have known people in my life who are like some of those on Jeremy Kyle so I do believe the show is pretty sincere. I know that they do purposely aggravate them a bit as they're in separate rooms.

Anybody watch it ? i just turned telly on ( i don't normally have it on during the day ) honestanyway i just cannot believe some of those people, do you think they are real or actors ?

I've only ever seen clips on other programmes, but I'm sure that a) they're real, and b) they're not really (quite) like that. I mean, I'm sure they are playing a part that's pretty largely based on who they are, but I'm equally sure they're playing a part: consciously hamming it up for the programme...enjoying their ten minutes of Jeremy Kyle fame, based on long experience of what the programme's like and what it's after.

watching it on catch up is best option as you can fast forward to the lie detector and D.N.A test results when one of the participants storms off saying that the results are beeping wrong and he is/isnt the dad or that he didn't steal a 100 quid of his Gran.....

I've got 3-4 weeks of it shortly. Only ever watch it when ill. I think this time I shall drag myself, very slowly, to the cyclists cafe in Romiley which is about a miles walk - won't be easy walking like John Wayne ! If I get stuck I'll have to eat cake till the missus finishes work !

They are certainly real. The 'researcher' on the show, and others like it, receives many applications for people who actually want to go on it mainly to gain revenge on an adversary or to find out paternity etc. The first criteria asked of the applicant is what medication they are on. If none, they are put to the bottom of the pile. If Prozac or any other anti-depressant, DING! Those people go right to the top and are almost certain to be invited on.
