More Atlantis than Ardrossan.
I have been on the Ardossan to Largs line on a terribly wet and windy day.They had to shut it eventually and lay on buses.
It's an interesting train journey to say the least

Ha ha, 100 km in calm, warm, dry weather today
. Three storms in a week, that's rough even for Scotland. Just goes to show though - it ISNAE ME after all; I am well out of it!
I hope my roof is still intact. Sadly I can't use my phone over here so living in ignorant bliss until I get home

Vodafone. TBH I haven't tried very hard to get network coverage here. I prefer the old fashioned way of being out of touch whilst on holiday!
When I switched my phone on when I arrived here it just said no signal. Not even the usual welcoming text message telling you how much they want to charge for calls and texts. I switched it off again and haven't touched it since.
