Lol - I got one for my birthday - straight away I could tell it was a Vittoria rubino tyre in a very unusual turquoise shade!

Perhaps I should label them with make and model!

Mind you, Marathon+ would be impossible to work with....

Thanks for the tip, I've had a look and will study it more later!

Of course online is the big leap forward for this sort of thing - no need for shop or stall premises, and with Ebay, Paypal, Etsy and so on, there are lots of possibilities. Of course the flip sode is that there are lots of people selling too, so getting a high profile is important. Plus of course, many people prefer to see and feel things like jewellery, and there's no substitute for actually handling something, especially stuff like wood which is very tactile.

Now, I really MUST get on with my tidying up, or I won't be able to find anything to make!
One thing to think about is lighting and photographing your product really well- look through the sellers and the better photographs make a good impression..however, I am of course biased!!

Good luck!

It certainly seems that there are a growing number (including me) here interested in the belts! (I had been looking at the Velo belts for my Christmas present, but as already mentioned, the price is a stumbling point)
Don't lose faith in the ear rings etc... a colleague of mine operates a tea business and different markets/events sell different products

Thanks for the encouragement! Yeah, I guess it just wasn't the jewellery's day - there was a lot of other jewellery there, so perhaps the market was flooded.

I will be making more belts before Christmas, and if Admin doesn't mind, I'll let folk know when they are ready. I realise this is advertising, and I don't want to take advantage - but then it is currently for a charity, albeit that charity is my employer.
