Grrrrrr. I am fed up with joggers wearing headphones on the canal towpath on my commute who cant hear me when I politely ask l if I might squeeze by.

How are you with walkers, or other pedestrians, that are hard of hearing?

(I admit to occasional moments of frustration with headphone wearers when I am on two legs as well as on two wheels)

Ting your bell, politely ask to get past then yell at them, the latter usually works.

I said in a loud voice "Good morning, I wonder if you would mind if I squeeze by". Nothing.

How loud was my voice? Loud enough for a cyclist 50m further on to stop and pull over!

Perhaps it was a just a nobber who didn't want to move over, another cc member encountered one of those a few days ago.
