People misspell my surname around 90% of the time as well, so you just learn to put up with it: even old friends still spell it wrong, it seems that there is just too much allure in putting in another L.
As for John Humphrys: I used to think he's great, but the Today programme has become a caricature of itself, and is far too combative for 7 in the morning. I do, however, like him on Mastermind.
I can't take Desert Island Discs after The Thick of It, and the way the politician was flawlessly designing what he wanted play.
