I got a pair in Briancon when the sole split off my Pearl Izumis.
I was singularly unimpressed with the build quality, and ended up throwing them out within 6 months.
It was a fairly expensive day - my companion's disk brake twisted the front wheel out of his dropouts, walking round Briancon looking for a bike shop we could get replacement forks at split the sole off my shoe, and when I got back to my tent I found that the sun on my tent had heated up my tent enough for my thermarest to delaminate.
