Just found my dismantled and chopped bike lock in the road, funny how i didnt notice it there earlier this week. Anyway picked it up and jon snow (channel 4 presenter works at same building) was just locking up his bike. And asks me if my bikes been stolen, and i explain story. Obviously he's had a bike stolen previously and said the police had told him ebay.

really good bloke and genuinely concerned and upset. A great cyclist ambassador.( think he might be getting a new lock now though after he saw mine!)

It was fausto coppi cyclocross bike orange frame!, it was abus lock,I normally multi lock, encapsulated in plastic then, metal tubing and then wire rope thread style. I'll take photos next week. Had a word again with facilities to see if any cctv.
