I was a bit hacked off to see the car upfront beep the nice young lady, and pleased when she caught up at the turning and berated him...chastened somewhat when he apologised profusely and said he hadn't been beeping her at all - just bipping a 'hello' to a friend he'd spotted on the opposite footpath.
