Jura Bourbon Cask malt......anyone tried it?

I have been given a bottle for fathers day. I am determined not to open it till Sunday.
Had Jura before but not this one.

Yes I get that, but others opinions can sway yours.

No, that won't happen. I know what type of malt I like.

Normal 8 or 10 year old is pretty decent whisky in my view; maybe a bit "rougher" than Lagavoulin say, but less than half the current price of the latter.

I have had mixed results with some of the no-age-statement whiskies though. Laphroig "select" is not nice at all and not much cheaper than their excellent 10 which is as good as ever.

Conversely some of the no-age Ardbeg novelty named whiskies are very nice indeed, so a bourbon casked Jura could well be pretty decent
