A ten-year driving ban isn't long enough. He should not be allowed to drive again.
Or even breathe! Ok, I don't support the death penalty, but sometimes one is tempted to make exceptions ...
He's like the total moron that my family knew who killed a cyclist and blamed the cyclist. When he got his licence back, he killed a grandfather and grandson by driving too fast round a bend in a narrow lane and colliding with them. (Their fault, obviously!) When he got his licence back again, he bought an e-type Jag and lost control of that, speeding in the countryside again - he drove through a hedge, and halfway across a field before flipping the car onto its roof. He lost his licence again and was heard complaining about how 'unfair' it was!
