When you log back in it would be great be able to hit link to all new posts since your last login on, this will help us see the latest posts in all the different categories

That is what the "What's New?" button does - give it a go:

When you reach the end of the new posts since your last login you should see a divider bar across the results. The remainder are all other previously unread posts.
