How did it go ?
Went well. Feeling much better than when I had it put in. Up and walking around already. How did it go ?
It was 2011, fractured badly into 3 pieces and they left it for 8 days before they operated, should have really been operated on as soon as I came into hospital.
So my recovery was crap, took me 2 months before I was even back at work and another month till I was back on the bike.
Biggest issues for me was sleeping, could only lie on my back and could only sleep for around 6 hours. Getting out of bed, a chair etc.. was almost impossible by my self for a few weeks.
I had some good physio and I got full use of my arm back, I play a badminton every now (used to play competitively for uni) and it doesn't give me any issues. The only problem I do have now is when i'm sleeping, the titanium doesn't flex but the bone does, so if i lie on that side then it really hurts in the morning.
I didn't get it and in staying over night. Just to keep any eye on me.
Also means I get a nice cooked breakfast in the morning!
haha i don't. Mayday give some of the work to local private hospitals to ease how busy it gets, also meant that i got steak and chips for dinner, a private room and a tvClearly someone has private medical insurance ;-)
Hope it's all going well....Your wishes appear to have come true as it's currently rather damp out. You sod.
On the plus side tho I'm now probably the most sweary cammer on CS7 ;-)
Here's
Also, has anyone mentioned another curry night? I'd be up for it if others are.

Looks like ill be off work for 2 weeks with a further 2 off the bike.
Hopefully now I can get some good nights sleep
I've cut down but will still probably put on a few, will be mid april when im back on if things go to plan. You still eating like a horse, not actually eating horse, putting on a few kgs because you can't cycle? It will be April/May, practically summer, before you get back on your bike. No ice or snow or freezing Arctic winds, but warm light winds. You might even miss April Showers. You part time cyclist.
Hope your recovery goes well.
