Just back from my first 50+ mile ride!

Well done. I'm a 20 stone rider. Last Sunday I rode 80 miles, today I climbed 1,500ft on a 17 mile ride and I'm doing the RideLondon 100 in 2 weeks. It's not about size it about enjoying riding.

Wow! I'm really poor at climbing. Well done! Serious question, where do you get your jerseys and shorts from? I can't find anything decent out there. Bib shorts are totally not available in my size!

Well done. Its a great feeling to break the 50 mile barrier. I did it last year but haven't achieved it this year yet. Hoping to tomorrow as I have a 45 mile event and I thought that I would add the extra 5 miles on afterwards.

I wear DHB Roubaix bib shorts from wiggle. They fit really well. I picked up a couple of tops from Decathlon that fit ok when I was in Edinburgh earlier in the year and I have an Altura 3xl top (cant remember where it came from) that I wear for most of my rides.

Altura also do 3xl in their rain jackets.
