Ordered 2 tyres 20 inch from SJS. Postage by Royal Mail is charged at £15 for Highlands and Islands. Why do I live here? Havn't locked my house door for ages so I suppose there must be some plus points.

I used to deal with SJS, but stopped when they introduced these charges.

It may seem good value at first glance, but is rubbish value when compared with other suppliers, believe me, I did some research after noticing the delivery charge added to my order from SJS.

OTOH, it can be used as justification for a 'getaway from it all' long weekend break in London, 2 nights on the Caledonian Sleeper and 3 nights for the price of two in a London hotel.

Yet they've been saying for decades that the cost to service them is a massive loss for them. However during public ownership they've always maintained a flat rate.
