I have persisted with the Spa saddle, mostly on relatively short rides as I couldn't stand it to begin with for any more than about 15 miles. Now around 400 miles on it and starting to take shape and be comfortable but a Brooks is worth the extra imo.

Brooks Team Pro had for about a month/300 miles not sure if I'm breaking it in or it's breaking me in!

I have to tell you that the Team Pro is the hardest to brake in of all the Brooks saddles but it's well worthy. I think I did about 1000 miles before it was very comfortable. When you ride something else and then come back to a brooks then you appreciate the saddle and the breaking in period seems far away in the past ^_^

I have four Brooks saddles, including a Pro, in my experience and from what I've been told, the Pro will never soften. Mine came fitted to my Raleigh Randonneur and has been ridden for thousands of miles and has not altered in any way.
