Atom Heart Mother is my favourite ....very English with choir and brass and of course a cow on the cover. Not most peoples choice however. Don't forget Meddle either.

bongofury - Zappa and Beefheart fan too, from the name?

Ah yes, a collaboration made in heaven - the body language tells you what pals they were at this time

I saw PF in 88 on the Momentary Lapse of Reason tour... TBH, they were upstaged by their own lightshow.

Favourite post Dark Side of the Moon album, Animals, favourite pre DarkSide of the Moon Album, all of them!

Was anybody unfortunate enough to watch Pink Floyd in Pompeii, The Directors Cut? Utter utter crap!

[sup]ps. The non-directors cut is the best single thing they've done IMO[/sup]

Ah....you have me sussed. Like all good music but IMO Uncle Frank was a musical genius.......I just wish folks would look at what was going on beneath the 'smut' and 'comedy music'. Back to Floyd, the soundtrack to the fim 'More' is worth checking out if you ain't already.

Hawkwind........for me the best album is the first...sadly I remember when it was released. Not seen the directors cut of Pompeii...shan't bother now..the original is fantastic though. Where do you stand on Ummagumma? A bit self indulgent.........but still entertaining.

Yeah I like Ummagumma... I like them all really but tend to get a bit snotty with their post DSOTM 'formula' albums... they were more fun as an experimental band.

Did you catch that BBC4 programme a while back called Festivals Britannia? They interviewed Stacia... and a whole bunch of relatively unknowns including Kieth the Bass from Hear & Now and Gong.

Campfire: The show is worth every penny, I won't spoil it for you by listing all the tricks and toys he has with him, but you will enjoy.
