Dayvo - Do you know Roger Green Head gardener at UMB in Ås(was Norges Landbrukshøgskole)? I had a summer job there about six years ago. Top bloke, i thought. Funny and, erm, interesting stories. He fixed me up with an interview for a anleggs gartner job at the palace. Unfortunately, didnt get it. When they asked me if i was a 'type A' person or 'type B' i was honest and answered 'type c'.

No, Stephenite, I haven't heard of him, but we may have been at various greenkeeping/horticultural get-togethers at some time.

Seems to be a fad at the mo' for putting pictures of olde worlde bikes on wine. In my local <goes posh>Waitrose</> I spotted two bottles. The first had an old french cycling poster on it. The other wasn't quite right......

That's right. Chile is in the southern hemisphere, mate. Coriolis effect.. think about it. ;)

But the Coriolis effect can be offset by pedalling backwards. There's no need to put the cranks on the wrong side ( although it helps to put the chainrings on upside down)
