I had some recently. Nice, but didn't stand up well to the Talisker 18 y.o I was comparing it to.

I'm not a whisky person (since that skiing holiday to France and a very long coach journey and a very quick half bottle in the middle of the night with nothing else to drink), but on occasions, a glass of Lagavulinis is, er, music to my mouth!

Give me a Lagavulin any time, instead of the Ardbeg or the Laphroig.
