Yes hence why we have the National a Trust for Scotland membership as we joined on our honeymooning Scotland, in Glencoe I think. But as we live in England we go to far more English ones than Scottish ones.We live in a National Trust blackspot - but have still almost joined on several occasions. With English Heritage you get in to CADW monuments free (Welsh Heritage - all the castles, basically) and the Scottish one (Scottish Heritage?) - family tickets to Edinburgh Castle cost roughly the same as a years membership. I believe the NT has a similar reciprocal arrangements?
