Just knocked down a cyclist...

... on my way to work this morning.

I left earlier than usual, thus it was darker, and just didn't see the fella. He was dressed in black and had no lights.

BUT the thing was, as I looked in my rear-view mirror, the look of surprise, horror, shock, anger etc. made me burst out laughing. I assume it was nervous energy/adrenaline. I wasn't going fast and he didn't appear to be hurt so I just drove away.

I'm chuckling now as I write this, half an hour or so after the event. It's the first time ever, so these feelings are alien to me. But I'm actually looking forward.....











....to next year's April 1st to see if I can fool anyone on CC again.
