That thing beat an Alfa? Surely not. Though Alfa apparently have an SUV thing of their own on the way, which just seems wrong to me. Not Does look imo better than the evoque though, not as though thats a difficult thing to do

Like a big red plop with wheels.

Eew.

Why is it called greenlaning when it usually involves turning a green lane brown and muddy? Isn't it really brownlaning?

The two door one looks pretty good, and some of the comments on here show that it really does have the ability to pi$$ off certain members of society, which is a bonus. All I really need to know now, is how easily two bikes would go in the back.

You may as well wait for the Victoria Beckham special edition.

Also, rather surprisingly, Victoria Beckham was also unveiled at the same event as Land Rover's new Creative Design Executive.

"Victoria Beckham is a talented British fashion designer and is extremely knowledgeable about great design and trends," said Gerry McGovern. "Victoria understands luxury products - she is a Range Rover fan and has been a Range Rover owner for many years. Her fashion business is now in its third year and her designs are loved by critics and bought by many of the most stylish women in the world. I believe this appointment adds a new dimension to my design team as we continue to design products to appeal to a wider audience."

Speaking at Range Rover's 40th anniversary celebrations, Victoria Beckham said: "This is a very exciting collaboration. The classic British heritage of Range Rover and the effortless style, quality and beauty is something I truly admire and also what I hope to achieve with my own brand. I am honoured to take on this role and be part of the creative team."

Gerry's design team will be collaborating with Victoria Beckham on future special edition Range Rover design projects, starting with a Special Edition Range Rover Evoque.

One of the local boatyards uses one of those:

Don't the stolly have to be low-loadered on roads though? Something to do with the way the diffs work means the transmission 'winds-up' on tarmac.
There used to be a couple of them giving tourist rides on Skegness beach. Dunno if they are still there.

Oh, and for the record, I had a neighbour with beard, 2CV and he was a vegetarian. He was also an utter self-gratification artist, so it just goes to show doesn't it!

I have a 2CV (well, an Ami) and a 4x4. I also know people who own 4x4 2CVs. How should I be feeling about these people?
