I use a maternity bra* with padded inserts for normal wear (very comfortable and no chafing on bike rides), although I do have a well fitting sports bra as well. Only trouble with the sports bra, is that I have trouble doing the top clasp independently.

*reason for maternity bra is the elasticated band which is very comfortable on my scar (following open heart surgery)

I am a mooby bloke who does a lot of triathloning. I use Bodyglide for nipples on long runs and it works a treat. Ideal for wetsuit neck chafage too.

Never had any issues, even with (now retired) piercings, but I am only petite. I have to say though, certain other piercings do not mix well with cycling:blink:

that's a rumour I have heard as well, but I have also heard that some women don't have an issue with it... but I'm not going anytime soon to try to find out - my bike is my transport - imagine trying to explain that one to your boss!

I can't recommend Sudocrem too highly when things go tits up. It sorted out my sore bum in a couple of days after it got compehensively trashed a few weeks ago after a ride. Wonderful stuff.

I'm sorry, ladies, but are you telling me that you're getting chafed nipples while wearing a bra? Seriously, HOW? I mean, I appreciate that at 34A I don't know anything about the issues with being larger, but still. My mind is well and truely boggled...

I agree. I don't find my upper body moves around enough to cause chafing. Running....yes, but not cycling.

who said chaffed... The term 'sore' was used. there is a significant difference. sore can come simply from compression, or simply from them being cold, or both. chaffed is another matter entirely.
