If you like reading get one. You will not be disappointed.
The reading experience is almost the same as paper - nothing like reading from a conventional screen -but better in so many ways. There are the obvious benefits of space saving and cost but it's the more subtle things that make the difference. For example you can read it including turning pages easily with one hand. You can select a word and the dictionary definition appears. The free books make it worth the money on its own. The complete works ofShakespeare, Austen, Dickens, Hardy, Twain, Scott, Poe, Conan Doyle, Stevenson ... the list goes on. Just about every classic book written before 1900 for nothing.
Plus its alsp got a limited mp3 player and free 3g internet access which isn't great to use but has allowed me to type this and the articlemode makes it excellent for reading papers online for free anywhere.
I doubt I will ever buy a paper book again.
