On Friday, someone left an Escort van outside our house. Last night around 1 in the morning, Ms RT woke me up by shouting "what the hell do you think you're doing?" out of the bedroom window. She'd been woken up by two people smashing all the windows of this van and running off. So, we called the police, who duly arrived and took some details before phoning the owner of the van who was then able to come and get all his stuff from the back.
This morning, someone knocked on my door to say thanks for reporting it, and he'll clean our windows for free once he's had his van fixed. Isn't that nice?
