Once again Yenners cuts me to the bone with his rapier-like wit. Anyway, it's quite possible that Karen is nicer than me, but I'd be surprised if she's quite such a dab hand with spaghetti vongole, or appreciates quite so well the artistry of Rudy Van Gelder. Nice is as nice does. But welcome, Karen, welcome - rumours of my horribleness are indeed much exaggerrated. Why am I popping up in two simultaneous Cafe threads, anyway - is it my birthday or something?

Its not a case of any malice just a case of levity !

A fair time back I tried to reach out to you with fairness, niceness, smiley fun but you totally mis-understood.

I, at that point fair'claud stood slighted.

Anyhow, you - claud, are one step better than Arch (in fact I risk death mentioning that femmes name + her arch pal thedoctor).

Sorry to say but karen just comes across more 'vibed up'.. compared to the dismissive atmosphere that exist in the heavy discussionists round these parts and that makes it stuffy !

*It isn't true, but thanks anyway. Not anxious - just a bit puzzled. I'm not really a Cafe regular, and I suspect Yenners' overtures to the lucky Karen were not really intended for my eyes.
