I've edited this post to reflect the latest report on Cyclingnews.

Keagan Girdlestone is in hospital with critical injuries after colliding with a team car at the Coppa della Pace. Early reports said he had died from his injuries, but these have been corrected by Keagan's family.

I hope the boy pulls through.
