Keep helmets optional e-petition

Hi All,

I've launched a UK e-petition to counter another one demanding that helmets be made compulsory. While I choose to wear a helmet, I don't want to be forced into it.

All the research indicates that helmet compulsion is counter-productive (see petition for links). Please sign if you agree.

Signed but I think they should spend more time trying to educate drivers on how to be nice to cyclists, I think this would help save more lives than making us wear a bl**dy skid lid.Ok yes they do help but would it stop that car hitting you ?
