Ich bin Powerfrau!
My trike's in its own shed in the garden.

Hubby's trike lives in another shed in the garden (lawnmower was evicted to a smaller shed). Neither of these trikes fit easily in the house. Hubby's trike currently on holiday in Orpington though.

Hubby's mountain bike and borrowed bike from Ianrauk are in the dining room. Where else?

When we got this house we didn't have a shed (or kids, for that matter) so the bike, singular at that point, lived upstairs. Mrs Jonathan M tolerated this, but got hacked off very quickly at the skid marks being left up the stairs wall, so I purchased some nifty Panaracer wheel covers, good thin about these were that they were placed over the tyre and rim, and then unlike some allowed the wheel to be replaced in the frame.

I see no problems in keeping a bike in the house, whether that be for security or just storage reasons.

No skid marks here!!

However, my best bike lives indoors whilst my other one lives in a fairly secure shed. My wife did nag at me once about the one in the study so I said to her "Ok, put your wedding, engagement and eternity rings in the workbench in the shed tonight." They lasted about 1/2hr after dark - after which she had to go get them - point taken

4 bikes....in a four room house (not including the bathroom or kitchen, they are far too small!) Current use bike always lives in the (wooden floored) living room, others are distributed on a 'next need' basis etc throughout the house.

The shed is for rubbish garden like stuff!
