Does anybody know if Kenda K-146-005 tyres have a puncture protection belt? There are some on ebay about half the price of my usual Schwalbe City Jets.

Kenda are a budget brand often supplied on new bikes to save money so I suspect not. If they did I'm sure the advertiser would highlight it.

Kenda Small Block 8's are / were a great gravelly tyre, whatever the rest of Kenda's tyre range.

Believe it or not - the cheap Kenda MTB tyres (supplied with Halfords BSOs) are better in soft snow, than any other tyre I have owned, including Ice Spiker Pro Evos.

I had Kendo Kriteriums on a new giant bike. These were road tyres and I had no confidence in them going round corners. Quickly replaced.

Conti contacts are an alternative to schwalbe city type tyres, but these are not cheap either.

If you are happy with the schwalbe city jets you already use, stay with them.
