Kerry's (Great Britain) Ltd (vintage bicycles)

We've unexpectedly acquired a children's roadster bicycle with a Kerry's headbadge. We know nothing about it and there's virtually nothing on the internet, except queries similar to this one!

I've written up all the details I have, along with photos, here on my blog.

Any British cycle manufacturing historians out there able to tell me anything?

I was just having a peek online, http://www.ebay.ie/itm/A-Vintage-19...9-Single-Speed-Town-Bike-in-fwo-/310992645403
It would appear that "Kerry's" was formerly known as 'The East London Rubber Company' according to this add.
If that is any help.

At present, the only help I can offer is a rough date> late 40s thru 60s. I will do some more research later.
