For practicality, I think the second one down (shaft drive bike) is actually a great idea! No more icky chain to clean, like shaft-driven BMW touring motorbikes.

Well, if we're going for oddities, there's this:

Built for the Cyclemagic tallbike festival. Yes, it's a bedhead, with bike bits welded on. And it is rideable, by a select few. Tom was just about to do a flying dismount in that shot.
