Do keystroke loggers only monitor web browsers?
If they do then would copying and pasting passwords avoid them? All they would receive is CTRL+V

They monitor all key presses. Your better off making sure you haven't got any viruses.

Keystroke loggers can monitor any keyboard activity whether in s browser or not. However you can also record mouse movement.

Inline loggers can't, as a rule, detect keys "pressed" on an onboard keyboard. Software versions can.

Nobody that I know off, I just thought that copying and pasting passwords might be a good way to avoid any malware that infects browsers.
