saw him lurking by a lampost as I came up the hyde park/park land bike lane, then bang, straight into my spokes one good rotation then spat out, looked dead so no need to give his head a good whack.

Pity the same fait didn't befall the twat in the people carrier who almost took me out a junction and the mini cab driver who's almost did similar coming alng the Kings Road.

Owww, I saw one sat at the side of the road this morning, nonchalantly chewing something, they do seem a bit bold at the moment do the old Tree Rat's (tm).

At least it didnt have you off, they seem soft enough to just mangle rather than cause an abrupt Stoppie.

Keep the tail and put it on a bendy pole and you need a small decal for your bike with a Squirell on it and a cross through it, like they put on planes in WW2.

lol.

i had one stare me down yesterday before it started running towards me as if i was food. cheeky buggers. I do like them though, even if they are vermin and have banished the even more cute, red ones. i see there are black ones now, according to country file

Ran over a big fat rat last Sunday on a training ride. Didn't kill it outright and to my eternal shame I didn't go back and finish it off, it was just wriggling about with I suspect quite a few broken bones. Not all bad though, think of it as Red Kite food, which were circling in abundance.

On a motorcycle track day at Mallory Park one time I watched in horror as a rabbit decide to make a break for pastures new on the other side of the track. 'Oh bugger' was my reaction as I saw him heading my way. Not a lot I could do, doing over 100mph at the time and feared the worst for us both. Well it was the worst for him, but I just felt the 'bump, bump' as I went over him, bike completely unbothered. One of the marshalls told me off for being cruel. ;)
