kindle screen frozen?

Anybody had a Kindle freeze on the current page? Tried resetting and charging but no joy.

Same here. A "hard" power off with the button pressed for a few seconds has always worked.

Two dead kindle Paperwhites in our house. No more unfreezing them. I've spent hours holding buttons and hanging on to the phone to Amazon.

Hot water works for defrosting a windscreen.

Think I saw in the "instructions" to do that hard power off thing noted by several above. Only happened here once so far but then I don't spend a lot of time on it really.

Presumably a silly bit of software in there which the boffins haven't been able to sort.
