We are now offering grants of up to £50,000 to support organisations across West Yorkshire to join our expanding network of community walking and cycling hubs.

If I didn't already work full time I'd consider trying for this, there are a few spaces in my town that could be used, we have an LBS and are in the middle of a couple of good greenway routes for people to start cycling on.

A couple of the existing travel hubs are also listed in the charity thread here, I'll drop them a line tomorow to see if they know about this and have applied.

There's supposed to be one being set up, four minutes up the road from me. With a second twelve minutes away.
I applied for both jobs last year, but heard nothing, and found out that both jobs were being re-advertised earlier this year. Previous applicants need not apply. But heard nothing to date.

I didn't read into great detail on it tonight, it's just appeared on my Facebook feed and thought I should share before it disappeared. I don't know if there are jobs here to apply for, it's read like it's a grant for someone/organisation to apply for to help get setup or if already running to keep running.

It's the same group setting up two separate hubs, near me. They want a manager for both.
To help get people out on their bikes more as well as supervising the repairs.

Best I heard was that funding would be available to get both sites up and running.
