Kirsty Cameron of Forfar has been nominated for the Sunday Times Sportswoman of the Year Community Award.

She started and runs a women's all abilities cycling group called Ladies Leisurely Cycles, and does other sporty stuff like coaching a children's footy team and seems like an all round good egg.

As a member of the Ladies Cycling club that Kirsty organises, can I just add what an inspiration she is and it's wonderful she has been recognised in this way. Please take the opportunity of voting for her today. It's very quick and simple and could make all the difference.

I saw a copy of the ST yesterday and read about her in that. It's a bit mean to close the voting so soon after they've published an article about her. I imagine the other nominees each had an article about them in earlier weeks.

Anyway, best of luck to her and her cycling group, including @Renmurew
