Kit Repair Materials

We all know about Ducktape and zipties. Are there any other materials that are useful for keeping bike/bags/footwear/ clothing in working condition.

I recently bought a small tube of Stormsure to repair some cracked wellington boots. The flexible polymer glue/filler works on lots of stuff so I had a go at repairing some abraision holes in my Ortleibs. I think it worked OK and the flex in the repair is similar enough to the matetial to avoid stress raisers.

The velcro on one of my under the saddle bags stopped gripping and I used an old toe strap to secure it better. As we used to do with "tubs" in the good old days.

I use a sticky backed plastic that is used to make numbers and logo for sails. It works really well if you can hold of some. It comes in a lot of colours.
